Our New Years Eve and day were uneventful! We are in the thick of getting KC ready to deploy. Wills have to be done and updated, Power of Attorneys obtained, finances in order. It is a really busy time for the Carter Family! Add to this, Aidan's birthday is coming soon! He is still so excited about Christmas! But he is getting used to the idea of his birthday is separate! He is asking for his friends to come over for a party. And this year we are just doing a family party because Daddy will be leaving soon. Most of his friends still live in Tampa. So, he will be a little disappointed but its all we can do this year! He has asked for a Thomas cake and another Thomas balloon! He had one from Aunt Missy but took it outside yesterday and lost it. That was so upsetting! The Thomas balloon flew away and he cried like he had just lost his best friend! Anyways, we did take some time out to have some fun. Here are some pictures:
